DEADLINE is a television drama about a relentless black journalist that struggles through world's top journalism school in the midst of racism, politics and corruption in Chicago.

The screenplay adaptation of the project was a finalist in the 2018 New Orleans Film Festival Screenplay Competition and made it to the second round of the MACRO Episodic Lab. 

  

"Deadline" is adapted from a novel written by Branden Hampton and is currently in development as a television show.
